Hi, I'm Mark Collum and I'm the owner of Collum Electric Service, LLC.  My Dad, Bob Collum started the business back in 1971 when  he saw a need for electrical services in the local area.  He focused on providing quality service and building relationships with customers in the community.  I grew up looking over my dad’s shoulder learning the trade and gaining valuable experience.  I then went on to school to study industrial maintenance technology and worked for an electrical contractor in Cedar Rapids.  After receiving my Journeyman and Masters license I returned to work for my Dad, and eventually took over the family business in 2014 when he retired.  We strive to continue on with his core values of quality service and valued relationships.

Our primary focus is not only to perform the electrical services that you need, but to provide an excellent customer service experience as well.  We believe that your electrical project or service experience should be as painless as possible and we want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work that we do for you.  We do this by making sure to communicate effectively with you on all aspects of your project and to make sure you get the customer service that you deserve.
